 COMMISSIONS Tone will create original artwork for you, based upon your ideas and requests! If you want an original piece drawn by the talented Tone Rodriguez - the man behind such great work as The Simpson's: Treehouse of Horrors, Urban Monsters, The Covenant and The Snake Plissken Chronicles, just to name a few - here's how: Write up a quick description of what you want. * Specify the medium. Tone works in pencil, pen and ink or colored pen and ink. * Specify the size. Pieces can range from a sketchcard to as large as poster-sized 24" x 36". NOTE: Most commission pieces are 11" X 17". * Specify your price range. Prices range based on materials used, size and level of detail requested. * Sketchcards are done on cardstock, all other pieces are done on high quality paper. Here's an example of a request: Tone, I would like to commission a drawing done in colored pen. Please draw Bart Simpson on his skateboard rolling past Moe's bar, like in the opening credits of the show. I do not want any other characters in the background, but could I please have the name of Moe's changed to Mike's? I would like this piece to be on the standard size of 11" X 17" and done in full color. Please let me know what you would estimate for this piece. Thank you! Fan Contact Info Including Mailing Address Note that sketchcards start at $30 per piece and all other work starts at $100 per piece, before shipping costs. * A minimum deposit of 50% of the final price after shipping is required before work will begin on any request. * All original pieces are shipped via insured priority courier. * Time frames for completed pieces vary according to the original requests. An estimated date of completion will be sent via e-mail to the customer. Please be aware that you are buying the physical artwork only. Tone retains the rights to publish the image of his artwork. The purchaser does not have the right to scan, publish online or in print or reproduce in any manner original artwork by Tone. The purchaser can have the artwork framed or display as they see fit within their own residence or in online galleries.
